The event starts with an analysis of the impact of long-term structural changes on demand and supply in the economy arising from the crisis. Thereafter, taking the perspective of SMEs and entrepreneurs, the effects of the crisis on financial markets, regulations, innovation and job generation will be analysed. Both the views of academics and policymakers will be presented and discussed.
