Operational support

The department provides operational support so that the authority can be effective in meeting the Government’s assignment. The department’s role also includes responsibility for operations being carried out in accordance with statutes, effectively and in harmony with the state’s administrative policy objectives.

This involves the department providing operational support within areas such as skills provision, working environment and staffing issues, financial control and reporting, IT and telephony, provision of premises, procurement, legal issues, and planning and monitoring.
