The department carries out analyses and evaluations in order to understand the state’s role and efforts to promote structural changes that will lead to high levels of growth. Its main area of responsibility relates to issues concerning internationalisation, digitalisation and business and employment dynamics.

The department is also responsible for working with Growth Analysis’ official statistics and the authority’s microdatabase of company information at individual level. It also has particular responsibility for an equality perspective being integrated into Growth Analysis’ work as a whole.
